SCER-GA opened our gate in August 2013 because our Founder fell in love with a picture of Spirit and made it her mission to save him from slaughter. Since then, we have been privileged to help over 422 equines with assisting and educating owners, re-homing, rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption or sanctuary.
We may randomly have equines available for adoption. The equines we have as sanctuary have been promised safety for their lifetime, that promise will be honored. Please continue to support those on the property as you are able.
Second Chances will remain available to respond to law enforcement in support of equine cases.
