Duke is a cherished sanctuary mule at Second Chances Equine Rescue. Born in 2003, Duke arrived at the rescue with five of his longtime companions, hoping for a brighter future. Not long after his arrival, he lost his sight due to cataracts. Despite this challenge, Duke has adapted beautifully and now enjoys a peaceful life in one of our quietest pastures, where he feels safe, comfortable, and secure.
